Freezing February

I love NYC! Clichéd though that sounds (possibly less annoying than the title of this post). It is where I finally can breathe without feeling like 100 people are watching my every move or judging me. The only one judging me here seems to be me. To make things better, I am working on a governmental decision making project. It is fun (v.v.v Heywood like) to be compiling a list of all existing governmental types. It would help if I had an idea of what it will eventually be used for, when it is due but New York is making me feel like all that is incidental. I am getting to explore this city, melt in the surreal skyscraper snow, hide in the beautiful wet blizzards and really just discover the real gutsy me (who possibly needs to buy boots to replaced the ballet slippers that are falling apart). There is nothing better than being completely broke and lonely in this amazing place. It really shows you what I can do, how resourceful I can be and drags me out exploring rather than hiding in my room.
